DESCRIPTION

The Mindo Chocolate tour is offered seven days per week from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, we offer a hands-on experience of our “bean to bar” chocolate-making process. Since 2009, we've been on a journey to make the best chocolate possible, a long process that starts with working directly with small, organic farms and ends in our hand-wrapped bars.

DESCRIPTION

Join us in discovering the ancient secrets of making chocolate. In this experience, we will work together to roast, grind, and mix your own xocolatl, a traditional chocolate beverage. Together we will recharge our energy by working side-by-side to make this delectable chocolate drink. You will get the opportunity to pitch in or just observe as you learn how chocolate has been made and consumed as a beverage for thousands of years.

Minimum of three people per session.

DESCRIPtion

The Ethnobotanical Tour is a guided walk-through of our garden to learn about medicinal and edible plants that are endemic, as well as some that are introduced here in Mindo. In this experience you will learn about the use and benefits of these plants. Then, each person will have the opportunity to individually prepare a medicinal balm of their choice with essential oils from plants found here in our garden.
